ALBERT CAMUS, VERS LE DIALOGUE: LA PAROLE AU SERVICE DE LA PAROLE
Keywords:
Albert Camus, argumentative text, discourse chanismAbstract
This paper takes into account the functioning mechanisms of an ext- remely interesting argumentative text. Its importance is given to the fact that the text itself pleads for the superiority of word compared to any ot- her form of persuation. It is about Albert Camus’ text „Vers le dialogue“, (A.Camus, 1950, Actuelles. Chroniques 1944-1948, Paris, Editions Gallimard, 175-179) published in precised historical and political circumstances, but to which the strategies used give a genarally valid meaning. The key element, not only for the text functioning but also for its analy- sis, is the author’s building a relationship with the addressee, relationship implying some discourse mechanisms having the same argumentative trend.
